Alberto Azzoni
Born in Lecco - lake of Como - in 1965, he starts taking photos at the age of 16. In 1992 he gets graduated in electronic engineering with a work on camera's autofocus system, and in 1993 he becomes a collaborator of Overseas photo agency in Milan and Sea&See Italia. In the same year he starts writing on photo magazines ("Il Fotografo"). In 1997 he joins the team of "TuttoMTB" magazine as a photographer/journalist, adding mountainbiking (one of its most favourite sports together with skiing and sailing) to its portfolio. In 1999 he won the "Marina di Pescara" prize for the best sailing photo published in Italy, and in 2002 he becomes the technical referent for "Photo Italia" magazine. His photos have been published on many Italian and international magazines, including "Il Giornale della vela", "Yacht Digest", "Yacht Capital", "La Gazzetta dello Sport Magazine", "Qui Touring", "Airone", "Bell'Europa", "Sci di fondo", "Sailing World" (USA).
